Our Story
Breaking Ground
Harbor Trinity Church began to take shape in 1955 with a small group of Christians who were seeking a church that would remain true to the Bible. Not knowing it at the time, this small group of believers would soon become the charter members of an established church in 1955, known as Harbor Trinity Baptist Church.
Growing Pains
As Costa Mesa and the surrounding communities began to grow and develop, Harbor Trinity was experiencing its own growing pains. To better reach the people in the community HTC broke ground yet again and constructed a two story educational wing. This not only allowed them to create more classrooms for Sunday school and Bible Study Fellowship (BSF), but is also created space to consider instituting a private Christian preschool in the heart of the Costa Mesa community.
The Story Continues...
In the Fall of 1982 Harbor Trinity campaigned and launched a preschool. Since then the preschool has added more students, classrooms, and staffed more and more teachers and aids. The mission that started long ago continues today - to nurture and assist students and their families in developing a relationship with Jesus Christ and to inspire them to make Him known to others.

An extension of the home
Harbor Trinity Preschool is a ministry of Harbor Trinity Church whose core value is to promote and cultivate a love for God and a Christ-centered self-image within the heart of each student. We believe that a proper relationship between family and school is essential to Christian education. That's why we see our ministry as an extension of the home.
We aim to...
- Create an opportunity for Christian growth by teaching children about God and the love Jesus has for each one of us.
- Provide an atmosphere that will be relaxed and loving with the flexibility to meet the individual needs of the child.
- Provide a safe environment inside and outside that stimulates a child's individual growth.
- Provide a positive approach in building a child's confidence.
- Encourage acceptable social behavior, kindness, and learning to work together for the well being of the class.
Our Staff


Kristina Isaacson joined the Harbor Trinity Preschool team in 2024. She comes with over 20 years of experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 18 years old in camps, churches, school districts, and community organizations. Kristina holds an Associate of Arts degree and multiple additional certifications. She and her son, Wyatt, attend Refuge Church in Huntington Beach. In her free time, Kristina enjoys watching movies with her son, hiking, cooking for her family, and teaching Zumba.

Ms. D
Meet Diane Dudley. This is will be Miss Dudley's 8th year at HTP. She has been educating children for over 35 years in various ages. She attends Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa and she loves spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, traveling, drawing and painting.

Ms. Lucy
Meet Lucila Perez. Over 19 years’ experience in teaching and has earned her credentials in Early Child Education at Santa Ana College. She and her family attend Christ Cathedral Church where she volunteers in children ministry. She loves to spend time with her husband Jose and two children Erika and Adrian.

Ms. G
Meet Georgina Vega. She has 24 Child Development units and 16 years of experience of teaching ages 3-10. This is her 5th year teaching at HTP. She and her family currently attend PDJ Ministries in Los Angeles. In her spare time, she loves to go on walks with her 2 sons and 2 dogs.

Ms. Sidney
Meet Sidney Xula! Sidney has been teaching children ages 2–5 for the last 8 years, and this will be her fourth year here at Harbor Trinity Preschool. She holds Associate Degrees in both Early Childhood Education and Child Development and is a member of 14:SIX Church. A proud teacher mama, Sidney loves spending time with her husband, Luis, and their two children. When she's not in the classroom, you can usually find her exploring new coffee shops or crocheting.

Ms. Hailey

Meet Hailey Wessel! With 9 years of experience working with children, Hailey brings a caring, energetic, and positive presence to the classroom. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and is excited for another wonderful year at HTP! Hailey loves creating fun, engaging learning experiences and helping children grow with confidence each day. Outside of school, she enjoys hiking, spending time with family and friends, and hanging out with her dog.

Ms. Patty
Office Registrar
Meet Patty Evans. This will be Miss Evans 4th year at HTP. She graduated from Azusa Pacific University. She has been in the education field for over 25 years. She enjoys spending time with family, attending church and nature hikes.

Ms. Mayra
Meet Mayra Suarez. This is Miss Suarez 5th year at HTP. She has been working with children for 10 years. She recently graduated from Cal State Fullerton. She loves to attend church and spend time with her daughter.

Ms. Callie
Teacher Aide
Meet Callie Holdridge, she is in her 5th year of teaching preschoolers ages 2-6. She has a bachelor's degree in communication from Cal State Long Beach and attends Refuge Church in Huntington Beach. She has been married to her husband, Jason, for 14 years and they have two children. She enjoys reading, watching her daughter play football, and playing Legos with her son.

Ms. Destiny

Meet Destiny Radillo she is currently in school to receive her Associates in Early Childhood Education. In her free time she enjoys painting and spending time with friends.

Ms. Nadia
Teacher Aide
Meet Nadia Sosa. She currently attends Vanguard University where she is majoring in English and pursuing a single-subject teaching credential. In her free time she likes to read, write, and sing.

Ms. Ledean
Teacher Aide
Meet Ledean Steybe she has spent many years working with children and has a true passion for it. Over the years, she has served in various roles including room mom for both of her children, a dedicated member of the PTA, a Girl Scout leader, a Bible school teacher, and a Vacation Bible School (VBS) leader. Her love for working with kids shines through in everything she does, and she finds great joy in the time she spends with them.
Ledean is also a proud mother of two adult children, of whom she speaks with great pride. She currently attends Mariner’s Church in Huntington Beach. In her free time, you can often find her at a concert, enjoying the beach, or spending time with her beloved animals.

Ms. Gissell

Meet Gissell Nava, who earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University, Fullerton, and completed additional coursework in Child Development. She has been part of the HTP preschool team for over a year and enjoys using her background in psychology to support children’s learning and development in a positive and nurturing environment.

Ms. Emma

Meet Ms. Emma, she is in her second year at Harbor Trinity Preschool. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Chapman University and plans to pursue a master’s degree in Early Childhood Development. In her free time, she enjoys staying active, hiking, and walking at the beach.

Ms. Jaleigh
Teacher Aide
Jaleigh is currently attending Orange Coast College and Majoring in Dance and considering minoring in Child Development. She would eventually like to open her own dance studio where she can teach others. Jaleigh has always enjoyed being around children, she has led VBS at her church as well as volunteered at Sunday school.

Ms. Kassy

Meet Ms. Kassy, She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton, and has always enjoyed working with children. She is excited and grateful to be part of the Harbor Trinity Preschool team. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her pets, painting, and attending church.

Ms. Denise
Teacher Aide
Meet Ms. Denise, She is new to Harbor Trinity Preschool and is currently pursuing her associate’s degree in Child Development. She has always had a passion for helping others, especially children and youth. In the past, she led a youth group at her former church and taught Sunday school. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, visiting coffee shops, and going to the beach.
